On my recent trip to Israel, I stopped by the offices of Wissotzky Tea, interviewing Shalom Seidler – the 5th generation family member to run this 150+ year old company – for a business article in World Tea News magazine.
Although I occasionally enjoy a spot of tea, the Wissotzky offices were located next to one of Tel Aviv’s best pubs – the Tel Aviv Brewhouse – where I was able to sample a wide selection of beers from Israeli’s 21 microbreweries (and meet up with my friends Ami and Guy, who I hadn’t seen in years)! Funny, cuz the last time I was in Israel, back in 1991, I was this close to opening Israel’s first microbrewery. Sigh … another case of day late and a shekel short.
Anyway, you can read my Wissotzky article. Also, check out their short online commercial targeting Jewish mothers – an ‘only in Israel’ experience.
